Position Overview

A growing CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead and oversee individual tax engagements while serving as a strategic advisor to clients. Key Responsibilities

* Manage and review individual tax returns and tax engagements

* Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients

* Develop and maintain strong client relationships

* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency

* Utilize AI, automation, and technology tools to streamline workflows

* Mentor and support staff as the team continues to grow

* Assist with business development and client retention efforts

* Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements

Qualifications

* CPA preferred

* Public accounting tax experience required

* Strong expertise in individual tax preparation and review

* Experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

* Comfortable leveraging technology, AI, and automation tools

* Small business, startup, or entrepreneurial experience is highly valued
